OUR OBJECTIVE
Our objective is simple - to offer beginners of all ages the opportunity to own an astronomy telescope, and the chance to see with their own eyes the real beauty behind those twinkling lights.
We aim to make amateur astronomy an experiential hobby to be enjoyed by all since we believe astronomy need not be an expensive hobby.
All budding amateur astronomers should have at least a basic set of telescope to start them on their cosmic journey. A good quality beginner’s telescope should have all the functional features for optimum stargazing results and it should also be priced within the reach of all beginners.
With a telescope, you can adopt an active and hands-on approach in the learning and understanding of the Universe. It will launch you on a journey of discovery by bringing right before your eyes the mysteries of the outer space thousands of light years away.
The catch-words here are “active” and “hands-on”. Half the fun and excitement is your ability to identify and focus on your target object. To fully enjoy your new hobby, a good knowledge of the seasonal night sky and your ability in handling your telescope are of equal importance. Therefore, it pays for you to be fully acquianted with the workings of your telescope.
We believe that the telescope is an essential tool for all budding amateur astronomers. The criteria we adopted in selecting our beginner telescopes are simple: that they should be light enough to carry, easy to assemble and handle, and most importantly, come with a set of basic useful accessories.
Whether you are a serious enthusiast or an occasional observer (like when a comet flies by Mother Earth or the observing bug suddenly bites), with a reasonable astronomy telescope, you can have hours of fun identifying, searching and peering at planets, galaxies, star clusters, nebulae and of course, our very own moon.
Prepare to hear yourself say "Wow..." when you see stately Saturn with its royal crown and mighty Jupiter with its Great Red Spot. Even the Moon will tease you with its changing phases. Do you know Venus looks like our Moon, with its changing phases?
After exploring the Solar System, you may want to venture further into deep space. And remember, your journey of a million light years begins Here.
As you embark on your journey of exploration, here's wishing you an enjoyable, memorable and exciting journey!
Bon Voyage!
